The Western Australian Internet Association (Inc.) represents the Internet community in Western Australia. It is Australia's oldest, and largest, state based Internet industry association and it’s excited to announce it will host a series of four breakfast events over the coming year. Each event will incorporate an expert panel of speakers discussing current topics in the industry.
We would like to invite you to attend the first breakfast event on Tuesday 6th October and hear the expert panel discuss and share their thoughts on the current challenges around E-security.
The expert panel of speakers at this event will include:
· Rob Forsyth, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Sophos. Based in Sydney, Rob has been Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand since 2001. Before joining Sophos, he spent five years with the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (SOCOG) as Workforce Planning and Industrial Relations Program Manager. Prior to working for SOCOG Rob worked for 10 years at the leading Australian IT executive placement and training agency, ASK Solutions Group. Rob is an active spokesperson within the IT sector, lending his valuable expertise to industry associations such as the Internet Industry Association.
· Jeremy Heterbry, Director ICT, Mercy Catholic College.
